Cast and Crew

Let's get to a few introductions:

The Crew

Shawna Marie Chapman: Admiral & First Mate (and my mate). Most beautiful woman in the world, and super-mom. Home schools our children and keeps me in line. The inspiration to our whole journey.
Cassandra Jannel Chapman: Boatsn's Mate (Deck Monkey). Number one daughter and all around little lady. Eight years old (almost nine) and the prettiest flower in the garden.
Melody Rose Chapman: A-Gang & Bilge Rat. A five year old professor. She's gonna have her own fleet someday I know it. Gonna get her own way too.
Raoul A. Chapman aka Cap'n Ral: Captain/Husband/Dad. Leader of this rag tag outfit. Currently Captain of the across country portion of our journey. The goal is to get them to the boat by May all in one piece.

The Boat

SV Feng Shui, A 1968 Cal 28, A Bill Lapworth design built by Jensen Marine. She is a spacious, sturdy and proven performer. As large inside as many 32' boats, she also puts in good times against even the modern marvels. Sloop rigged with a jiffy reefed main, four head sails to choose from (big jenny, spinnaker, and two jibs large & small), and a storm trisail in the sail inventory. I have re bedded all deck hardware and strengthened the cabin top and forward deck. I have also almost completely rebuilt the rudder.
